On Business Week Magazine’s website, this interesting item: East Japan Rail spent $170,000 in October to install special LED lighting on 29 station platforms along one of its busiest routes. Cree, Inc. has been selected to provide LED lighting to Walmart for new stores and renovations. Walmart plans to install Cree LRP-38 LED lamps in 650 stores during the first year, replacing ceramic metal halide in the produce and electronics departments.
