Updates On NYControlled & The DLC Controls Summit

^{Two lighting control trade shows + conferences have emerged in the past couple years: 1. NYControlled produced by IESNYC & DLFNY, and 2. the DLC Controls Summit. Here is an update on each. Both are occurring in October, this year.}

 ^{The 2024 show has been announced for October 29th, 2024, 11am – 7pm ET. It will again be held at the Metropolitan Pavilion NYC, 125 West 18th Street, NY, NY 10011, between Sixth & Seventh Avenues. Exhibitor registration announcements will occur in the next couple weeks. The event will include both a trade show and educational sessions. More information here.}

 ^{DLC Controls Summit ‘24}

 ^{Registration is now open for the DesignLights Consortium’s (DLC) two-day Controls Summit. It will be held October 15 and 16, 2024 at The Westin Hotel, Milwaukee, WI. You can register and make hotel reservations here. An Early Bird rate is available through September 15, 2024. Registration is restricted to no more than two attendees per company or organization, due to limited space.}

 ^{The conference agenda is published and addresses: lighting control rebate programs, NLC + HVAC integration, horticultural lighting controls, and reducing light at night from commercial buildings.}

David Shiller is the Publisher of LightNOW, and Senior Business Development Consultant at Capacity Consulting, a North American consulting firm providing business development services to advanced lighting manufacturers. The ALA awarded David the Pillar of the Industry Award. David has been co-chair of the ALA’s Engineering Committee since 2010. David established MaxLite’s OEM component sales into a multi-million dollar division. He invented GU24 lamps while leading ENERGY STAR lighting programs for the US EPA. David has been published in leading lighting publications, including LD+A, enLIGHTenment Magazine, LEDs Magazine, and more.
