Optique Lighting has announced the launch of their Armadio illuminated closet rod collection. These custom architectural Nano Linear closet rod luminaires are engineered to be one of the industry’s strongest closet rods and are offered in custom lengths to a designer’s specification, in 1/8-inch increments up to 8 feet.

The closet rod diameter is 1.34 inches, making this rod system sleek, strong, elegant, and functional. According to Joe Flynn, President of Optique Lighting, “Compared to other closet rods that begin to bow almost immediately under load, the Armadio solid aluminum internal truss system resists bowing while at the same time providing illumination.”

The Armadio collection is powered by an Optique Nano Linear Light Engine offered in five lumen outputs up to 1,205 lumens per foot and in seven CCTs (2200K, 2400K, 2700K, 3000K, 3500K 4000K and 5000K), with quick ship configurations offered. The fixtures provide up to 97+ CRI, with high R9 and R13 values. Color variation is kept within a 2-step MacAdam ellipse for unparalleled quality and color consistency.

The closet rods feature an innovative three-piece mounting system for easy installation. An attractive cover plate hides screws for enhanced aesthetics. Accessories include both fixed and adjustable mounting supports. The housing and end caps are aluminum with a frosted polycarbonate lens. The collection is available in Polished Aluminum and Matte Black finishes.

The closet rods are UL Listed, Title 24 compliant, Closet Rated, and compatible with many popular control systems. Additional information on the Armadio Nano Linear illuminated closet rod luminaires and Optique Lighting is available here.
