The 2013 Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) Solid-State Lighting Outdoor Design Competition was recently launched. Written Intents to Submit are due by September 20, 2013 and must be submitted online here.
Final submission forms are due by October 11, 2013, and physical product samples are due by November 1. Judging takes place in December, and results will be announced in February 2014.
This is a terrific program that vets LED luminaires. I use it frequently throughout the year and consider it a reference for the highest-quality LED products in the market.
