One of the trends that was still evident at LEDucation, earlier this month, was continued miniaturization of luminiaires. A good example that I saw was the new release of Velino.0 by Optique Lighting. They claim that it is the slimmest, low UGR, architectural luminaires on the market, and I believe them. The family features a sleek ½-inch aperture; a curated portfolio of professional-grade optical solutions that includes high-performance glare control, ergonomic distribution, asymmetric optics and dark-optics technology, alongside value-driven diffuser options.
The Velino.0 luminaires feature a universal mounting ecosystem, which include applications for T-Grid Clip-On, T-Grid Recessed, Recessed, Surface-Mount, Suspended, and Slat walls and ceilings.
Bringing a more subtle lighting experience, Dark Optics conceal the light source and dramatically reduce brightness, ideal for glare-sensitive spaces, premium environments and applications requiring directional control. Dark Optic technology achieves UGR <12 at 700 lm/ft., while Linear Optics deliver UGR<19 when viewed crosswise.
LED source options include Static White, RGB, RGBW, RGBTW and Tunable White, ideal for dynamic environments, human-centric lighting, and color-impact applications. The family is offered in multiple color temperatures, lumen packages, and finishes, include custom color options.
