Updates On Two Important Conferences & Trade Shows

 

Here is an update on two important industry conferences & trade shows:

NYControlled 2025

This show is being held Wednesday, October 15th, 2025, from 9am – 6pm, at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York City. Exhibitor registration is now open. Lighting control manufacturers will be showcasing their cutting-edge products. Also exhibiting will be:

+ Luminaire manufacturers with luminaire lighting control systems that are fully proprietary or a novel technology.

+ Luminaire manufacturers engaged in control partner programs with a fully proprietary or novel system.

+ Independent lighting system integrators that are service-based providers independent of a specific lighting agency or lighting manufacturer, and not a subsidiary of such a company.

Educational sessions will also be offered, including CEU sessions. Sponsorship opportunities are available to interested companies and organizations.

IES Street & Area Lighting Conference 2025

The 2025 IES Street & Area Lighting Conference (SALC) will be held in New Orleans, LA, September 21-24, 2025. The SALC attracts utility, DOT, municipal, specifier, researchers, and manufacturer attendees focused on improving outdoor lighting. The program provides outdoor lighting training classes, seminars, networking sessions, and an exhibit hall.

Registration is now open with early bird pricing through June 30. In addition, five Sunday classes will be offered at the SALC:

+ Fundamentals of Outdoor Lighting

+ Outdoor Lighting Applications

+ Outdoor Lighting Controls

+ Computer-Aided Design

+ Smart Cities & Communities.
