Evolving High Output LED Filament Lamps

Naturaled High Output LED Filament Lamps

There are indications that high output LED filament lamps are gaining in popularity as HID lamp replacements, as well as LED corn cob replacements. More manufacturers are offering them, and the performance levels and features are improving significantly.

An interesting example is one of the naturaLED High Lumen Filament lamps. It is 3-wattage selectable (85W/68W/60W) with selectable lumen outputs of 16,500; 13,200; or 11,700 lumens. This is the first filament lamp I’ve seen to reach 85W and 16,500 lumens, as well as the first I’ve seen with 3-wattage selectability. That’s an impressive efficacy of 194 lpW. It has a mogul EX39 base and an ED37 form factor (traditional HID lamp shape). naturaLED states that it can replace up to a 575W HID lamp. More information is available here.
