The Great Lighting Debate

This year’s Strategies in Light featured a lively debate between noted experts in the field, tackling subjects ranging from controls to color tuning.

Experts including Naomi Miller, Jim Benya, Clifton Stanley Lemon, Brent York, Adam Carangi, and Carla Bukalski, who paired off to debate:

* Should the traditional socket endured or be retired?
* Should designers focus on color tuning or simply work harder to bring in daylight?
* Should lighting be at the forefront of the Internet of Things?
* Is the switch dead?
* Should the industry move faster to TM-30 over CRI?

Maury Wright of LEDs Magazine does an excellent job summarizing this fascinating debate here.
