The U.S. Department of Energy recently published a summary report for the fifth annual DOE Solid-State Lighting (SSL) Market Introduction Workshop, which was held July 21–22 in Philadelphia, PA.
More than 300 lighting professionals joined DOE to share the latest updates and strategies for successful market introduction of high-quality, energy-efficient SSL solutions. The workshop itself was preceded by a series of tutorials on July 20 for those new to SSL, along with a webcast on evaluating LED street lighting solutions. The webcast, hosted by DOE’s Solid-State Street Lighting Consortium, was attended by more than 500 people who participated either in person or online.
