Susan Solomon Auerbach, executive vice president – corporate development for Generation Brands was inducted into the American Lighting Association’s (ALA) Lighting Hall of Fame on September 15 at the 2009 ALA Annual Conference.
As the granddaughter of Henry Siegel, founder of Sea Gull Lighting, daughter of the late Edwin Solomon and a senior executive of Sea Gull Lighting for the past 27 years, Solomon Auerbach has dedicated most of her life to the lighting industry.
She has continually supported the ALA’s efforts to staunchly support ALA members, manufacturers and showrooms with the latest technological, marketing and customer information and sales strategies. Over the years, she has served the ALA in varied leadership roles and was the first woman elected chairperson of the ALA Board of Governors.
The Generation Brands family today consists of thousands of high-quality fixtures bearing the LBL, Monte Carlo Fan Company, Murray Feiss Lighting, Sea Gull Lighting, Tech Lighting and Wilmette Lighting brands.
