The 2026 version is a complete re-organization of ANSI/IES LP-10, focusing on best practices, in four main areas: Sustainable Lighting Design, life cycle analysis, material health, and rating systems, product labelling/declarations, corporate programs, social & environmental justice. A new section is added for Takeaways and Checklists to aid the designer, definitions have been updated.
