I find it hard to keep track of all the different ways that controls are evolving. Lately, I’ve noticed smart wall controls are getting significantly more feature-rich. A few examples are below.
The Keilton+autani IWS102 & DWS102 by LiteTrace Brands
Keilton+autani by LiteTrace Brands has transformed standard wall switches into intelligent control hubs that manage both hardwired lighting and networked devices based on occupancy, without requiring ceiling-mounted sensors nor fixture modifications. These Bluetooth-enabled wall switches are ideal for small spaces, retrofits, and areas where ceiling access is challenging or cost-prohibitive.
Unlike typical occupancy sensors that only control their hardwired load, the IWS102 & DWS102 each offer dual control architecture: hardwired occupancy-based switching for connected lighting plus wireless Bluetooth control of additional networked loads. See image above.
The integrated 4-button interface provides manual dimming and On/Off control while occupancy functions operate independently. A single wall-mounted sensor orchestrates lighting and equipment control across an entire room through the Keilton+autani Bluetooth network. This can include plug load controllers (WF20R) for appliances and equipment. A built-in ambient light senser adds daylight hold-Off functionality.
The IWS102 has PIR sensing for open spaces or the DWS102 has dual technology combining ultrasonic and PIR for enhanced detection in rooms with partitions. They are both available in occupancy or vacancy modes with 120-277V universal voltage and 1600W+ load capacity. Both wall controls are DLC-qualified and cULus-listed with 100-foot Bluetooth range.
These new wall controls are ideal for conference rooms, private offices, lunch rooms, storage areas, copy rooms, and restrooms where coordinated lighting and equipment control maximizes energy savings.
LTECH’s GQ PRO Smart Knob

GQ PRO by LTECH is a smart knob (wall control) utilizing Bluetooth mesh. Its outer ring is made of brass, with 360 diamond-cut facets, created with 5-axis CNC machining. The knob’s rotation delivers a damped feel and the sound effect of a mechanical watch or rachet.
The smart knob supports three interaction methods: knob rotation, touch screen, and gesture recognition, allowing the user to easily control the whole-house smart ecosystem:
- a light twist with fingertips enables stepless dimming of lights;
- a simple swiping gesture provides smooth selection between devices;
- a simple touch controls the temperature and humidity settings of the HVAC.
