Manufacturer Vode recently published an interesting article on its blog, identifying three ways lighting can affect mood.
“One of the most challenging – and oftentimes frustrating – aspects of architecture is trying to grasp the mood or message that your client is trying to convey. For example, how would you go about lighting an art museum differently than say – a hip cocktail bar? Would a department store have different lighting than a hospital? The easy answer, of course, is duh. Lighting design plays an important role in the overall “feel” you want people to experience as soon as they walk in the door.”
