ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING Article Covers Growing Importance of Social Media

ARCHITECTURAL LIGHTING recently published an article about the growing importance of social media in business. I couldn’t agree more. When it comes to new media and technology that gets its start in the consumer sector, in business, we sometimes associate these media and technologies with their consumer applications. But they’re just tools for communication. And as people favor them for personal use, so do they for business. Smart lighting businesses can use social media for a variety of purposes, from customer contact to image building.

From the article:

What started off as a digital means of staying in touch with friends has grown into a mainstream and effective method of developing and maintaining business relationships. Today, most businesses and business people are connected through social media in some way. The proper use of social media can provide unlimited opportunities for architects, lighting designers, and design firms to generate exposure, find new leads and potential clients, and connect with existing customers.
