Acuity Brands, Inc. recently announced it has acquired eldoLAB Holding B.V., (eldoLED), a manufacturer of intelligent LED drivers. Founded in 2003, eldoLED is a privately owned company headquartered in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
eldoLED offers a wide range of readily available LED drivers using advanced drive, networking and control architectures, providing full-range dimming for white LED and dynamic color solutions for RGB effect lighting. eldoLED also develops customized and design-in solutions for its OEM customers, including Acuity Brands. Proprietary digital technologies provide eldoLED drivers with advanced capabilities such as flicker-free dimming to off, optimum power efficiency, configurability, and robust thermal management in a small footprint.
