WAC LIGHTING Receives ISO–14001 Certification for Effective Environmental Management

WAC Lighting has received an ISO–14001 Certification for its effective environmental management system of designing and producing luminaires and components. The company operates a clean, wholly owned manufacturing campus with zero landfill status, recycling capabilities and in-house UL authorized labs.

The ISO–14001 environmental management standards help organizations minimize their operations and manufacturing impact on the environment. The standards help manufacturers comply with applicable laws, regulations, and other environmentally oriented requirements.

For more than a decade, WAC Lighting has achieved and maintained ISO-9001 certification by meeting stringent standards of quality management and assurance in productivity, processes, and efficiencies by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). To meet these standards, the ISO has audited, tested, and approved all phases of WAC Lighting’s production, quality control, design, product development, assembly, shipping, warehousing, packaging, staff training, and servicing.
