ILEX Architectural Lighting Announces Acquisition of Davis Muller Lighting

ILEX Architectural Lighting, a manufacturer of lighting solutions for both the hospitality and commercial markets, has announced the acquisition of the privately held Davis / Muller Lighting. Originally founded by two of the industry’s most respected and prolific product designers, Scott Davis and Henry Muller, Davis / Muller Lighting is a manufacturer of architectural lighting for the commercial and design market. The Boston area-based company offers a full line of specification grade decorative bowls, sconces, pendants and ceiling mount fixtures.

“We welcome the Davis / Muller team to the family and look forward to expanding our portfolio to our clients,” says ILEX CEO Alan Indursky. “Both brands allow us to expand our outstanding project support and exceptional customization capabilities to satisfy the specific demands of commercial, hospitality, retail or commercial environments.”

Davis / Muller Lighting sales and distribution operations will remain independent but all manufacturing of the line will be relocated to the 72,000 sq.ft. ILEX manufacturing facility located in Taunton, Massachusetts.
