IESNYC Seminar, “Introduction to AGI32,” to be Held October 21

The Illuminating Engineering Society of North America’s New York City Section has announced that it will host a seminar titled, “An Introduction To AGI32” on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. James Brigagliano, Lighting Calculations Technician, Selux Corporation will be speaking.

This program will cover lighting calculation software, how it is used, what it can do, and why it has become a vital element in today’s lighting design projects. It will also review what project information is required to provide a lighting calculation. The format of this class will be a live demo by Brigagliano along with project examples and resource information. AGI32 will be the main focus of this class but other available software options will be mentioned.

Location: Selux Corporation, 5 Lumen Lane, Highland, NY 12528. The fee is $10 for members, $20 for non-members. (The member discount is offered to members in any design professional affiliation–e.g. IES, IALD, AIA, ASID, NSPE, etc.–as well as ConEd employees and design students.) Online registration required 2-days before event date. Walk-ins are not allowed; non-registered attendees will be charged the full non-member fee.
