Pegasus Associates Lighting is observing its 10-year anniversary by offering special discounts and free lighting gifts to all customers until May 31, and launching an Internet forum dedicated to lighting.
The Pegasus Associates Lighting website first went live on the Internet May 5, 1999. It was less than 20 pages and included only very basic information about a few of the company’s lighting products. By November 2002, the website boasted a custom shopping cart, which allowed customers to place their orders directly online. Fast-forward to 2009 and the company’s website now has over 900 pages, receives approximately 1 million annual visits, and has shipped to more than 40,000 customers around the world, according to the company.
