Parsons Intensive Lighting Design Masters Studio is a week-long immersion experience that exposes students to the working process and applications techniques in lighting design. Taking advantage of the expertise in the MFA Lighting Design program at Parsons, participants spend a full seven days in the studio environment working on a lighting design project sited in New York city.
Students participate in hands-on exercises that examine the technical and poetic relationship that natural light and electric light have with architecture, while at the same time taking advantage of the vast design resources in the New York metropolitan area.
