Last Call for LHRC Online Courses for 2026!

The Light and Health Research Center’s (LHRC) is offering two online professional certificate courses for 2026.

These interactive educational offerings will be led by LHRC faculty and staff who are the foremost experts in their fields. Courses begin in September, and registration for the classes will close soon.

Dan Frering, the LHRC’s education program director said, “we have designed these two online courses to provide professionals from a range of backgrounds with information they need to advance in their careers.”  The 2026 educational programs include:

 Online Professional Certificate Course in Lighting Design

September 10 to November 12, 2026

This 10-week online professional certificate course in lighting design provides the knowledge and skills needed to help those in professions related to lighting to begin or improve their practice in architectural lighting design for a wide variety of interior and exterior spaces. Online Certificate Course in Light and Human Health

September 23 to October 21, 2026

This 5-week online, interactive certificate course provides a solid understanding of the latest research about the interaction between light and human health, as well as information on how to use the power of light to improve health and wellbeing in schools, offices, hospitals, homes and other settings.
