An expansion of Focal Point’s Seem family, Seem 4 Recessed Grid is a 4-inch-aperture recessed luminaire designed for use in lay-in and regular grid ceiling styles with flush, regress, and pop-down lens options, and available in individual units, continuous runs, or pattern configurations.

Specifically designed for outdoor applications, Environmental Lights’ ProFlex LED Neon uses a flexible silicone housing to provide a greater level of ultraviolet protection and weather resistance than standard PVC-based neon.

Edison Price Lighting’s Artima/2 track or outlet box-mounted luminaire offers a small profile with a light output of 1,500 lumens (98 CRI) or 2,000 lumens (80 CRI).

Prudential Lighting’s Bolt is Snap’s streamlined, sleeker new sibling designed for any number of configurations. No longer constrained to 1-ft increments, Bolt is offered in any row length (to the 1/16˝) with fully lit 2-, 3-, and 4-way corners, allowing for a wide range of shapes, from intersecting triangles, squares, pentagons and hexagons to asymmetric “chop stock” creations.

Lightheaded Lighting’s Minimalist series of low-glare, micro downlights offer miniaturized luminaires with significant light output.

My contribution to the December issue of tED Magazine, the official publication of the NAED, provides an update on the development of LiFi technology, including its early commercialization efforts.

Decorative lighting manufacturer Eureka’s Verner pendant is a “deco-performance” luminaire comibining high light output with a geometric aesthetic to enhance interior spaces while providing useable light. With no visible hardware, the pendant is intended for use in high ceiling applications, open areas or spaces where diminished focus on the ceiling is the aim.
