IOTA’s ETS-STEP allows step-dimming control and increased energy savings for designated emergency luminaires on the auxiliary supply. Like IOTA’s other ETS solutions, the IOTA ETS-STEP eliminates the need for always-ON fixtures by restoring local switch control to the luminaire connected to the standby generator or inverter. The ETS-STEP also allows the use of bi-level step-dimming features for additional energy savings and illumination control. In the event of a power loss, the ETS-STEP enables the auxiliary supply to bypass the OFF or DIMMED switch position to operate the emergency luminaire at full output during a loss of normal power.
