We seek to hire an engineer or analyst with extensive knowledge of efficient lighting technologies, design, standards, and test procedures for a full-time Scientific Engineering Associate (SEA) position: a senior SEA (SSEA) or principle SEA (PSEA) depending on the level of experience the candidate brings to the job. Scientific Engineering Associates in the Group provide advanced technical support, applying engineering and scientific concepts to the development, analysis, review and documentation of energy efficiency standards and test procedures. SSEAs work with little instruction on day-to-day work. PSEAs work with minimal instruction and work more independently to develop methods and procedures to fulfill new assignments.

The successful candidate will enjoy performing high-stakes analyses in a fast-paced and highly dynamic work environment, working on a day-to-day level with an interdisciplinary lighting team of 5 to 10 individuals.
